A gorgeous hard to find vintage Gucci Leather crossbody or shoulder bag that can also convert to a clutch purse. I believe it's from the 70s when the Art Deco revival was big after the 1974 release of The Great Gatsby. The beautiful clasp has that deco style while the slim shape and color are pure 1970s. The brass logo is also correct for this period.
A beautiful bag in a dark red leather, the interior has one zippered pocket and is part leather and then finished in another fabric. The hardware is a all shiny gold, probably brass of a very good quality. Also the classic logo first designed for the brand in 1933 on the front, in the 80s they began flipping the G.
In good vintage condition, it does have some definite signs of wear and age. Including a few marks to the leather, most notably a scratch on the clasp (see photo) and on the back of the clasp the leather is coming up just a bit (see photo). This could be glued back down, there are several brands of leather glue available or you can take it to a shoe/leather repairer.
