ITEM DESCRIPTION: Gorgeous 70s maxi dress with beautiful crochet lace details. The dress is see-through under the lace which makes this an extra fab summer dress. The sleeves are slightly longer than "short sleeve" which shows off the lace detailing nicely. Cotton material is soft and sturdy with lovely ribbed texture detail. Has back zipper. No tags on this beauty so I think it was home-made. Overall, well-made and in great shape! This could make a very lovely wedding dress, reception dress, or whenever-the-heck-you-want-to-wear-it dress- if you're looking for something elegant and not over the top.

NOTED FLAWS: Has been carefully mended in a few spots on the bottom front of the dress, which you can only tell if looking very closely. The sleeve lace has also been mended in a few spots on the underside of the sleeve so you also can't really notice. See photos.

MEASURMENTS:

Vintage sizing can tricky as the size listed on the tag of a vintage garment does not always reflect the actual size by today’s standards, so it is very important to measure, measure, measure! CHECK THE MEASUREMENTS LISTED BELOW against a similar item you own that fits you nicely. I recommend using a soft measuring tape and laying the garment flat on the floor. To measure the waist and hips with the garment laying flat, measure straight across the waistline/hipline and then multiply by 2 to get the around-the-waist/hip measurements.
