1970's Fine Italian Cotton Tiered Skirt Set by Marta Salvadori hand made in Italy.
We are all obsessed with this outfit and its iconic 70's vibe! Salvadori was a Cuban designer in the 70's, whose flowy gauze and cotton sateen pieces were sewn by the local women of a small town in Italy. The cotton sateen fabric of this piece feels like a fine silk and is a beautiful, antiqued shade of terracotta with a subtle, golden patterned print. 
The satin spaghetti strap, blousy top is adorable with its lace trimmed bustline, can be worn with the ties in front or back and is not for anyone busty. The tiered skirt is really comfortable with a new elastic waist and fabric is gathered mid-calf for a full, flowy hemline. The matching sash elevates the entire look; we love it as a headband but try a pussy bow at your neck or waist. 
Hand wash and drip dries quickly leaving a beautiful crinkle to the fabric. 
Top: bust resting and hooked closed 32" fits up to 34", waist 26", hips 26", length 33".
Skirt: new elastic waist resting 22" fits up to 28", hips 42", length 29".
Matching sash: 106" x 10".
There are a few tiny flaws and we have adjusted the price accordingly. The top has a tiny, round stain on the front hem and a tiny hole on the back hem, both virtually unnoticeable and there are pics in the descriptions. Best fix for the flaws is a hemming of the top, but we will leave that decision to the new owner. There is a small stain on the skirt near the waistline and is covered by the top. 
Modern Size is XS/S and condition is Great As Is. Model is 5'11". This item has been hand washed.
