I really almost don't know where to start with this purse, I absolutely love it! Not only the design of the purse itself, but the distinctive Bonnie Cashin flair that is evident despite the minimalist silhouette of the purse. If you're a vintage Coach lover, you can most likely spot one of Bonnie Cashin's designs from across a room- whether it's a turnlock clasp, a heavy buckle, a kisslock clasp, or a strong but simple silhouette- her iconic style is consistent no matter who she was designing for! Despite being designed in the early 70's, it is large enough to easily fit an iPad, making it perfect for a woman on the go.. precisely what Bonnie Cashin aimed for when she designed everything from clothing to handbags; wearability and comfort. Sorry to gush, but the more I've learned about Bonnie Cashin, the more amazed I am at her quite often unsung place in fashion history. ~CONDITION:
Very, very good vintage condition; I'd give it excellent condition when I factor in the fact that this bag is about 45 years old! The only thing I can call out are some small popped stitches at one corner of the strap (see closeup pic above).. that's it. I have gone ahead and cleaned this gem, and conditioned the leather in preparation for its' next stop in life.
I am always happy to answer any questions you may have.
