Rare bag alert!!! Vintage Coach Safari Bag or double pocket tote bag in gorgeous rust leather. Originally designed by Bonnie Cashin, we believe this bag was made in the early 70s and it's a little bit different than the other Safari style bags we've had in the past. The handles are slightly rounded (instead of the flat straps seen on the 60s version) and this bag is a bit larger than the older models. Please see last image, where we show this bag next to two earlier bags from the 60s (not included with this listing, being sold separately and shown to demonstrate scale).

Pre-creed: stamped with COACH in a cartouche. Unlined. Comes with a Coach hang tag and it's tiny Coach pamphlet too! Preowned/vintage with minimal signs of prior use and wear: some light fingernail scratches and rubs to exterior, most notable to the binding at the corners (see pics 8 & 9 for examples), hard to see when wearing but evident if inspecting very closely. Some scratching to hardware. Interior is clean. Measures appx 13in L x 9in H x 3in D with 6.25in strap drop.
