Beautiful 70s vintage GUNNE SAX cottage core tiered prairie skirt with POCKETS in black and pink floral print calico cotton. 70s era featuring the most decadent details with a beautiful old western flair. Bringing back memories of yesteryear, in a skirt of total charm and innocence. The fitted waist is trimmed in cream satin ribbon. The hips are free and the midi length ends in a lovely cream eyelet lace trim. Would look cute for everyday frolicking with heeled clogs or cowboy boots. Dress up with a nice blouse or down with a t-shirt. Words used to describe Gunne Sax dresses are feminine, nostalgic, Victorian, old world, and romantic.
BRAND:
Jessica's Gunnies
Started in 1967 in San Fransico, a school teacher named Jessica McClintock was hired as their lead designer in 1969. "I brought to [Gunne Sax] my own concept of clothing based on romance–nostalgia created by a mixture of prints, ribbons, laces, muslins and braids. It was 1969, the 'mini' era was ending, and the Gunne Sax 'Country,' 'Edwardian,' and 'Prairie' era was beginning."
