Want to look unique? Try on this sweet little sun dress with hand-drawn design...

This dress comes from Pier 1's very early (late 70's-80's) clothing line, somewhat appropriately named Gypsy. It is made of a light weight woven cotton, in brilliant yellow color. The neckline is a sweetheart bust, there are princess seams for a fitted-look, and the Basque-style waist graduates to pin pleats, for a full but mini-length skirt... with pockets! The original straps were missing when I found this piece, so I replaced them with turquoise-dyed polyester satin ribbon straps -tie them to any length you desire. The center back zipper closure has also been replaced, as the original was broken. The dress length was also shortened, to cut away some unremovable staining. And then, I used fabric markers to decorate, as well as cover, the few tiny areas of remaining stains. None of these are really noticeable any more, please see photographs for full details. Overall condition is excellent, despite the aforementioned modifications and issues. Labels read 'Gypsy, The Clothing Collection of Pier 1, size Small, made in India, 100% cotton, hand wash in cool water'.
