Item description: late 1970s couture gown by Albert Capraro. Black velvet bodice with a deep U shaped neckline and long sleeves. Dramatic pleated taffeta trim on the neckline that cascades down the front of the dress. Cuffs are trimmed in pleated taffeta. Very full wrap skirt that is closed with hooks and eyes and snaps on the waist. Detachable self sash on the waist. Gown is very high quality and is in excellent vintage condition with no noted flaws.
