Beautiful Borsalino floppy brim hat, Made in Italy. Body is a rich ivory fur felt and the hatband is a matching grosgrain.

Interior is trimmed in a satin ribbon.

Excellent condition with only a small spot of soiling on the interior band.

Label in the crown reads Qualita Suprema Borsalino, Alessandria Italia. Along the satin sweat band is stamped in gold Borsalino, Made in Italy. Imported by Roos Atkins of California, a chain of stores that operated from 1957 to the late 1980s.

Borsalino is the oldest Italian company specializing in the manufacture of luxury hats. Since 1857, the manufacture has been based in Alessandria, Piedmont.
