This authentic Gunne Sax formal blouse is totally swoon worthy! It was designed by Scott McClintock (head designer Jessicka McClintock's son) in their iconic and highly sought after famous victorian revival and Edwardian inspired designs. Gunne Sax specialized in formal and semi-formal wear for young women in the 1970's. This blouse is made of a 51% acetate and 49% cotton blend fabric in a glossy and textured rich dark caramel brown color. The fabric has a unique look which is hard to describe. From some angles it radiates ruby red tones and from other angles it radiates deep emerald green tones. It has a flattering and well tailored fit throughout the bodice, ornate contrasting lace trim, and dramatic shoulders and sleeves. Dress it up or dress it down - you can't go wrong with this iconic and collectible stunner. The front closes with covered buttons and hidden snaps for extra secure losing at the bust and waist. The inside has it's original designer labels which read, "Scott McClintock, Made in USA, size 8".

Condition:

Great vintage condition with no damages to note other than a few very small discoloration dots. All buttons and snaps are original, white trim is in excellent condition.
