Beautiful early 1970s Hawaiian maxi dress - floor length with beautiful wrapped bodice and sleeve detailing. This cotton dress is comfortable but could be worn to a formal occasion. There is a sewn in layer of fabric that wraps around the bodice and ties in the back. Two belt loops at the side hold the wrap in place. The sleeves are cut on the diagonal and have a beautiful cut out detail along the top edges (see images). The dress would be ideal for someone one tall and thin - it is long but also cut very narrow through the waist and hips. It has two side slits to make walking easier. Measurements are: 28" waist, 34" bust, 36" hip, 16" shoulder to shoulder, 14" from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the bodice, 38. 5" from the bottom of the bodice to the hem, 15" from the shoulder seam to the longest bottom edge of the sleeves, and the side slits are 9". Unlined, with a zipper up the back and a hook at the top of the zipper. In very good condition.
