Late 70's early 80's sheer blouse by Helene St Marie. The fabric is a beige sheer polyester with opaque shimmery stripes. The print is little brown and white flowers (with tiny blue spots) and green stems and leaves. A romantic, transitional style of it's time, it's slightly fitted and there are no shoulder pads. Has a Victorian look to it and was probably deemed "career wear". The high neck and cuffs are pleated with button and loop closures. Bodice has gathers at the center front where it meets the neck, very pretty detail! Puffed long sleeves are gathered on at the shoulders. Buttons down the back about 6". Would look fab with pleated trousers or jeans!
