This fun little item is simply a rectangle of tartan plaid wool fabric to fling on as a cape poncho cover up. Unisex. Edged with a red trim at the hem. Wide scoop neck. I believe this is the Stewart tartan. Bonded wool fabric. late 60s early 70s .
