First known to the fashion world as an award-winning milliner, Adolfo Sardinia began making clothing to complement his hat designs after launching his eponymous label, in 1962. This plum purple wool knit Adolfo 1970s jumpsuit and matching cardigan jacket is a subtly sexy ensemble for cocktail or evening wear. The slinky wool knit is relatively lightweight and just slightly sheer, as you can see from our photos. The sleeveless, wide leg jumpsuit has a V-neck with a button-front opening, too open as low as you dare! The three-quarter-sleeve, hip-length jacket or cardigan has a shawl collar and an attached belt to hold it wrapped closed when worn. Both pieces are unlined and are in excellent condition. For a comfy yet stylish evening look, this 70s jumpsuit and jacket set can't be beat, and the violet-purple color is pretty fantastic, too!
