This vintage 1970s day dress is sweet and simple, and so flattering! The bodice is styled with cap sleeves and a wrap front, which creates a vee neckline. The skirt flares out from the elasticized waist, accented by a fabric sash that matches the print on one side, and coordinates in soft lavender on the other side.

SIZE: No size label. The waist measurement is given unstretched - moderately stretched.

FABRIC/COLORS: The print is deceptively subdued from a distance, probably due to the relatively muted colors. But get closer, and you can get lost in the flow of pattern and color. The petite motifs look Asian Indian or Middle Eastern to me - stylized flowers, feathers and flames, some with pointilist outlines. The print uses two shades of purple, two shades of copper, and dark green with a bit of white against a celadon green background. The fabric is light weight knit, with a crepe-like texture. Based on a fiber burn test, I believe it is synthetic blend - nylon and/or polyester
