This dress was beautifully made in the U.S.A. in the 1970's by "Petites by Willie". We are so obsessed with the silhouette of this piece...ultra flattering! It has the best of both worlds: shirt dresses and fit and flares, resulting in an ultra MCM look. The waist is cinched in with elastic and gathering and finished with a matching belt. There is a small panel between the cinched waistline and flaring bottom skirt that allows the fabric to lay perfectly along your lower back and stomach, right before the glorious flare that will make you want to twirl around every room! The bodice portion is preppy and classic with 3/4 length sleeves that look great cuffed, a double yoke line on the front and back, and a button up front ending in the cutest little collar. The polyester fabrication has a velvety, suede feeling to it and is very breathable when wearing. It's label notes it's size as 8 but it would fit a modern day Medium or Large (the fabric and silhouette can fit a wide range of measurements). Dress it up or dress it down...this will quickly become an MVP of your wardrobe!
