1970’s Janice Wainwright ivory caftan. Early Janice Wainwright at Forty Seven Poland Street label. The base of the dress is a cream chiffon. It has a more fitted interior straight cut dress. The inner dress is made in a silky rayon until it nears the hem. It then changes to the chiffon that is extensively embroidered. Floating over this is an attached caftan that is loose and full. Birds and cloud embroidery running extensively down each of them and across the back. The front is cut low with loop and fabric covered buttons that you can close or leave open for more of a plunging feel. Side zipper on the inner dress. Fabulous wedding choice for a bohemian bride.

There are some marks and a small pulled area on them hem, shown in the last three photos.
