This silver-black metallic 1970s blouse from designer Geoffrey Beene's more casual label Beene Bag has classic mid-70s shirt styling: close-to-the-body, fitted shape, with pointy collar and curved, shirt tail hem. The blouse fastens down the front with silver metal buttons. It has long straight sleeves, but check the sleeve measurement carefully, as they look fairly petite in length. The sparkly silver thread appears somewhat iridescent, depending on the lighting, and is most likely woven with nylon to create the lightweight, metallic fabric. In excellent condition, this silver lamé or lurex, disco-era 70s blouse actually reminds us of a disco ball!
