Koos Van who?

Koos Van Den Akker is a Dutch-born fashion designer based in New York City, USA. He is famed for his unique collaged 'Koos' designed clothing and notably the creator of the 'Bill Cosby' Sweaters.

It purchased at a lovely boutique in Chicago - Pompeian Shop. The shawl is one of a kind made especially for the boutique in the 1970s. The shawl is huge, you can wear it over a coat, dress, drape it over a chez lounge or hang it on a wall as art.

The lovely wine colored fringe + black poly/nylon fabric as the "canvas" then a collage of other fabrics. It is truly a piece of fashion history
