This authentic Gunne Sax long sleeve victorian revival dress is totally swoon worthy! It was designed in their iconic and highly sought after famous victorian revival and Edwardian inspired style. Gunne Sax specialized in formal and semi-formal wear for young women in the 1970's. This dress is made of a 100% acetate fabric in a glossy deep wine red color. The fabric has a unique look which is hard to describe. The color radiates different tones of red when the light hits at different angles. It has a flattering and well tailored fit throughout the bodice that mimics a corset, ornate contrasting lace trim, and the waistline ties in the back with an attached fabric belt / tie. You can't go wrong with this iconic and collectible stunner. The front closes with faux pearl buttons and the back has a zipper. The inside has it's original designer labels which read, "Jeunes Filles, Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock, Made in U.S.A., size 10". Great vintage condition with no damages to note other than a few very small discoloration areas. All buttons and trim are original, white trim is in excellent condition.
