Late 1960's vintage yellow, white and black gingham maxi dress by Marianne. This is a rare find. Marianne is one of my favorite vintage labels and they simply do not come up very often. Each one I have ever seen is very special and this dress is no exception. Cheerful sunshine yellow maxi in a cotton blend. Fitted empire waist bodice trimmed in black velvet piping and black eyelet lace. Darts at the bust. Extremely voluminous gingham balloon sleeves with elastic cuffs. Black velvet trimmed empire waist. Full ankle sweeping skirt. Lined in yellow and white gingham at the bodice. Skirt is unlined. Nylon zipper at the back.
