Gorgeous late 60s late 70s wedding dress. Off-white colored linen with white scalloped crochet lace from the mockneck collar and down the bodice. Sweetheart neckline underneath the lace. Matching crochet lace long bell sleeves. Same crochet lace along the upper back shoulder area. Decorative linen covered buttons down the front of the dress. Metal zippers with two hook closures at the base of the neck and two underneath the zipper. Watteau train style back. Matching crochet lace trim on the hem of the dress. The front of the dress is shorter than then the back of the dress. The dress is lined with a thiner linen slip and the lace crochet pieces on the bodice, back, and sleeves are lined with a netting similar to tulle.

The set comes with a matching long veil and slip. The veil has three plastic hair combs on the inside. The slip has three layers: an outer layer of acetate, a layer of tulle, and an inside layer of acetate. Metal hook closures on the back. I believe the slip may be from the 1950s. All three items were found in a box dated 6/6/1971.

Please note: Some of the buttons have discolored with age, either yellowed or a bit darker than the rest. These discolorations are most noticeable in the close up photos and my camera had a hard time picking them up int he fuller shots. There are extra buttons sewn in on the inside of the dress, near the hem, which have caused a few small marks on the outside of the back. There's also a few small dark spots on the back near the hem, which do get lost in the pleating. Also, the cuff of the sleeves aren't flat on the outside hand have a sort of small balloon effect. Please see the last three photos for these flaws. These flaws are mostly noticeable upon close inspection. The lace on the veil has yellowed slightly from age. Also the waistband of the slip has some marks that may come out with a soak (I ran out of picture space, but please message me for more photos). Regardless of these flaws, the piece presents beautifully and has been priced accordingly.
