This wedding gown is just classically beautiful and timeless. It is truly a 1960s wedding gown that was never worn; it is still new with the tags and fabric swatches. The gown consists of two pieces: the slip and elegant column dress and the absolutely fabulous over jacket that has an ethereal train. The gown is simple and chic made of cream silk with spaghetti straps and a fitted bodice. There are pearl beads and Swarovski crystal flowers at the waist. The skirt of the dress is simple with an A-line silhouette, to hold its shape the skirt is lined with a stiffener. The skirt is also decorated with subtle lace appliques. The dress has a metal zipper that goes straight up the back and there is a little bow at the waist that snaps over the zipper.

The jacket adds the extra umph of elegance to this wedding gown ensemble without taking it out of its timeless elegance. The jacket is worn open and hangs perfectly to show off the gown underneath. It has long sleeves that have buttons at the wrist for fit, and lace that runs up the arm. The jacket is made of the same silk as the gown and is fully lined in silk chiffon. The jacket on the back and sides has beautiful lace panels that match the lace of the gown. The lace panels on the jacket, however, are cut out and only backed by sheer chiffon so light peaks though when in motion and is just stunning.

Condition:

The dress is in next to mint condition with no flaws to note. I did have to remove the tags though and are still included with the dress. The dress has never been worn but had not been stored well and had some age-related staining and smell. The dress has been professionally hand laundered and is now spot-free and read to walk down the aisle in.
