This is an exquisite vintage 1960's cocktail dress made by "Gay Gibson". It is made of a black rayon/acetate sheath dress with a sheer black dotted nylon mesh tent cut overly. It has a high neckline with ruffle trim and a stiffened ruffle trim hem that stands out nicely from the underdress. There is a back nylon zipper closure. It was modeled after the famous 1957 Balenciaga cocktail dress pictured. This dress is the epitome of 1960's glamorous, MOD fashion!
