If you are a fan of Greek Roman mythology, this 1960’a chain belt might be calling you. This great 60’s chain belt is sure to be a worthy vintage accessory addition and a conversation piece for sure!

The quality oval linked belt is an attractive shade of gold and accented with a Lion of St. Mark disc. This well documented image of a winged lion holding a bible is the symbol of St. Mark the Evangelist’s description of John the Baptist’s voice “crying out in the wilderness” upon hearing the Word of God (Mark 1: 3). His voice is said to have been like that of a roaring lion. This lion symbolism also appears in a vision of the Prophet Ezekiel where four winged creatures represent the four evangelists (Ezekiel 1: 10).
