This is an incredible vintage 1960's dress made by "Kanebo". Kanebo began clothing manufacturing activities in 1964 when the company signed a licensing agreement with French fashion designer Christian Dior to produce and distribute men’s and women’s couture and ready-to-wear apparel in Japan. It is made of the most exquisite light aqua blue satin with intricate gold metallic brocade. It features a full button front with five gold metallic frog closures and small side slits with matching details. It has a mandarin collar, darted bust and long sleeves. It can be worn open in the front like a jacket as well and has a full navy blue lining. This is a very well made piece!
