Vera Neumann
60s Vera Neumann Maxi Wrap Skirt Bright Floral with Yellow Piped Edges Cotton$58.00
While artist and entrepreneur, Vera Neumann, was best known for her brightly colored scarves and linens, she also designed clothing, which is much more difficult to find. The clothing line was launched in the 60’s.
This dirndl-styled 60’s maxi skirt is gently gathered at the waist. The abstract floral woven cotton fabric is framed nicely in bright yellow, the waistband extending into ties for the wrap skirt styled with a rounded front edge. The sturdy cotton floral fabric is the “signature” Vera. Its soft white background provides a perfect backdrop for the splotches of bold yellow, pink, blue, and green blooms with just the right amount of black etches, all screaming “happy summer vibes!”
