This is a Lovely Circa 60's Zardozi Handbag done in Black Velvet. Zardozi is a Beautiful Metal Embroidery. It is hard to determine the exact decade these were made. This Method was originally made to adorn Kings and the other Royals in India. These handbags are listed to be from the Mid Century and some even date them to the 1920's. This Handbag showcases a Peacock that is Hand Embroidered on the Front. It is Embroidered in Copper Wire with Gold and highlighted in the Colors of: Rust, Green and Purple. You can Carry it as a Clutch or with the Gold and Black Shoulder Strap. Inside there are three slide pockets trimmed in Gold. The Workmanship is so Pretty!
