WHAT DID I DO?
Eclectic much? How daring are you? How unique are you? How rebellious of trends are you? If you are, consider this upcycled Early 60s vintage Don Loper suit jacket. It's wool gabardine and had moth bites (not holes!). What was I going to do? Throw it out? IT'S A DON LOPER, made famous in more than one "Lucy" episode. Many hours spent covering flaws with black sequins, done professionally, with red glass seed beads to hold them in place. Some black and white check fabric, black lace. So now it really IS a Don Loper Original (but not the way he planned). Bracelet length sleeves, fully lined in matching crepe, 2 front pockets, double breasted. Buttons replaced with vintage rhinestone buttons, black ribbon roses too. Now it's "Hobo Chic", instead of Boho chic. How would you work it into your own personal style?
IS IT ON SALE? It might be. Look for the hot pink banner on any of my shop pages.
