60s chiffon gown large, with a 40s style. It may be able to fit an xl, please see measurements. It's sexy and classy. The chiffon layer has a deep v neck front and deeper back v that is ruffled. It drapes with a ruffle over to the left side part of the waist and lies bunched together forming a ruffle until the open front/side slit. The slit is very deep (33 1/2") but can be sewn to shorten it. There is a back zipper. Under the sheer chiffon top layer, is a satin lining. The bottom of the top layer has an unhemmed scalloped finish. The gown is too big for the mannequin, so it was hard to keep the shoulders on. There is also snaps on both sides for nonslip hanging of the gown. The design has large circles with flowers, polka dots, circles and stars. If you look closely, you can see it's a very abstract design. The chiffon is in excellent condition. The lining has a couple of tiny spots that won't show. I was told the gown is from the 60s. There is no label and it looks to have been handmade.
