I always loved the look of a sharp blazer and white top on other women and I tried to make it work for myself, but to no avail. Those beautiful blazers hung unworn in my closet for years. The same goes for the caftan. I admire the women who wear them—the cool, chic look they cut on the beach or at the pool but have never actively sought one out myself.

So when I found this and put it on and my husband said, "Oh you should definitely keep that!"—I did. For three years I've had this caftan, yet I haven't worn it once.

Sigh. Like the smart blazer, I am not a caftan girl.

So I'm giving this one up. And even as I write this, I think, "Well, maybe..." But no. I want my vintage clothes to be worn. To be out and about in the world. Wowing and being enjoyed as they aught.

So buyer you are lucky. Lucky I'm more a loose strappy, sundress coverup kind of girl, because if I was a caftan girl, this royal Egyptian beauty would be in constant-summer-rotation.

Handmade. Has an amazing belt-tie that cinches the waist area in for a more fitted look. Truly flattering.
