A tremendously rare item to come with its original box and Saga Collection catalog!

The serpent is entwined with an animal, representing good and evil. The original of this was made about 1000 A.D. This is a copy of the original found in Eidanger, Telemark.

Brooch measures 1 3/8 x 1 1/2 inch.

Excellent condition. I have not polished this. The box has a shallow scratch in top but otherwise great condition. The literature is excellent, no dog-eared pages and spine is strong.
