Beautiful sky blue slip / nightgown made by Vanity Fair in the 1960s. This neckline is so flattering -- in fact this whole nightgown is a particularly flattering cut. I love how the bust and straps are embellished in lace while below that is smooth nylon. Originally intended as an under-layer or sleepwear, but it would be so much fun to style this as a dress!
Note: The slip is a bit lighter in color than it appears in photos. Really a sky blue!
Label: Vanity Fair
Fabric: Nylon tricot
Labeled size 32. Please review the measurements below.
Measurements
Bust: 32 inches (can stretch larger)
Waist: 26 inches flat -- can stretch up to 30
Hips: Open
Length: 40 1/2 inches
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. There are belt loops indicating that this slip once had a sash, but it has been lost to time. You can snip them off or belt it with a ribbon -- I'll leave the loops intact and leave that up to the purchaser! No other flaws to note.
