DETAILS: Dress for success in 60s style with this vintage tweed skirt suit! You can rock this look at the office with its classic silhouette, along with a youthful edge through the use of candy colors. The 3/4 length sleeve jacket is fitted with princess seaming and darting, and features an oversized bermuda collar. Faux pocket flaps sit above two slits in the bottom edge. The skirt is A-lined, done in six pieces. Both jacket and skirt are fully lined.

FABRIC/COLORS: Medium weight novelty tweed in a somewhat loosely woven plaid, using thick slubbed orange and pink threads with smaller caliber goldenrod, olive green and smoky ombre purple, all held together by silkier thin beige threads. The jacket is fully lined in cream crepe, while the skirt is lined with cream acetate-type fabric.

CLOSURES: The jacket closes with five goldtone metal shank buttons that with an embossed wild cat in the center of each one, reminiscent of Versace. A snap hidden under the collar creates a smooth line. Buttonholes are bound. The skirt has a hidden petersham waistband, closing with an inner buttoned tab and a hidden nylon zipper.
