I always think of silver a s a New Years color, but this would also make a great prom dress, even a wedding dress, like a Yoko Ono affair, in a big floppy hat or veil. There is a very pale off white almpst pinkish satin lining for the dress, but the sleeves are not lined, so I included a picture so you can see the difference in color. What amazed me, when I took it outside to photograph, was the aqua blue luminescence color in the metallic thread, that I did not see before....or maybe it was just reflecting the sky and pool? Really beautiful. The back has a metal zipper, hook and eye closure. The sleeves are slightly bel shape. The only flaws are a snag or two that can be trimmed off with no fear of doing any great harm. I have kept this for many years always thinking,,",some day"..but I have another silver dress that is even more spectacular, so this one was never worn by me. It really needs a good home. Go by measurements. It never had a label. Just two bust darts and back darts. Very simple tailoring. Home made? Its a possibility.
