1960s silver gown Old Hollywood metallic gown by Jay Kobrin for Maisonette, a well-known designer of the 60s and 70s. He had designed for the stage before doing commercial design. His clothing was carried in high-end stores.
This gown has a turtleneck with a higher waist, which has a silver metal attached belt. That's pretty amazing. Then it flows down to a fuller skirt. The back has a long zipper. The Jay Kobrin for Maisonette label is there. it is in good condition, no pulls or wear. This gown will make a fabulous statement. It's mod, hip, classy, boho chic and a little Grecian. It should fit a size 4, 6, poss 8. The top is smaller than the bottom but please see measurements. This dress would be a wonderful party dress, wedding, Mother of the bride or groom and black tie, New Year's Eve and more.
