Fabricated in a lovely yarn dyed plaid silk sari inspired fabric (made in India on traditional looms)
Fully lined in silk
High neck with one bow on the front shoulder and a second on the opposite back shoulder
Bodice overlaps and Fastens with hooks and thread loops on each of the shoulders with a single covered snap armhole level at the back pleat.
Fitted with front bust darts
Offset front and back pleats add fullness to the sweep.
Maker: Tina Leser, According to the Vintage Fashion Guild’s label resource, Tina Leser closed her business in 1964, only to reopen in 1966. “Her first collection after her reopening was a tribute to India, with fabrics being made on traditional Indian looms.”
Condition: Very Good. There was one tiny pinhole that I added a few stitches to, right on the back foldline. Please see photos. Freshly dry cleaned, arrives clean and ready to wear.
