Great first edition short story anthology compiled by Georgess McHargue and published in 1968. This book was meant to appeal to both children and adults with an eclectic mix of amazing authors and both well known and obscure works. Included are Dylan Thomas, Ernest Hemingway, E. Nesbit, Shirley Jackson, Harper Lee, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Evelyn Waugh and J. R.R. Tolkien, though his name is oddly spelled Tolkein?

In very good condition, the jacket shows a lot of wear and there is a large crease to the inside cover, which clearly happened during the binding process. Owners name written on pre- title page. Spine is in good shape.
