DESCRIPTION: This 1960s' dress from Serbin of Florida, designed by Muriel Ryan, features a great -style scenic print. A pagoda with Geisha girls sits within a garden of flowers and plants. The straight shift style can be worn with or without its original self-fabric tie belt. The belt sits above the natural waistline for an Empire-waist profile and allows the print to be mostly unbroken. The fabric appears to be a triacetate knit, fully lined with a soft nylon knit. Great dress for work or for the boardwalk and beach!

SIZE: Estimated at a modern size 8 to 10. Shown unpinned (except under the arms) on a size 6/8 dress form. But go by the garment dimensions and your measurements to determine fit. This is a knitted fabric, and there's a wee bit of give in it, but not much. It's not meant to be tightly fitted, but can be worn slightly loose or closely skimming the body. We suggest you compare to a dress you have of similar style or fit.

Measurements, with dress laid flat (unstretched to comfortably stretched):
Bust: 38 to 39"
Waist: 37 to 38" (unseamed, not fitted)
Hip: 38 1/2 to 39 1/2"
Length, down center back from collar/neck seam: 38"

CONDITION: Excellent. I see no flaws. Dress has been freshly laundered (machine wash on gentle, line dry) and is ready to wear.
