To be honest I never knew that Royal Doulton could get as groovy as this pattern is...what a fun color assortment; red, yellow, and purple flowers with bright green foliage that wraps around the bottom of the coffee pot and the rim. The silhouette is really pretty too.. there were plenty of reasons for me to bring this pretty piece home with me!

Well, shoot. When I found it: excellent. When I was hand drying it after washing, I realized that it has a crack in the base that I missed when I was inspecting it at first- see closeup pic. I always try to really inspect a piece and weigh the repairs and condition before I bring it home.. I can't believe I missed this. It is priced accordingly; I think it can be mended, but liquids do slowly leak as it is. It might be a better decorative piece that a functional one.
