Okay, so here it is closer to August 4 than July 4, and I'm posting a red, white, and blue purse.

You know what? It's on purpose. (Not true.)

We should be patriotic ALL year around and not just one day a year (true) and this purse is merely a reminder of that.

(It is now anyway).

The same goes for Mother's Day or Father's Day or Teacher's Appreciation Day or Grandparent's Day or Valentine's Day--pretty much every celebrated holiday except birthdays, Halloween, and Thanksgiving should be celebrated 365 and not just once a calendar. (Well, and Cinco de Mayo because...duh.)

So while others might look at the above pictures and simply see a cute vintage purse that would look amazing paired with a white sheath dress, or some jeans shorts, or those cute sailor culottes, the truth is, it's representative of SO much more than that.

(Although don't get me wrong, it will still look really good with the aforementioned things).

It's a reminder to be present and be kind and thank a soldier and be grateful that you live in such an amazing country.
