60s Plaid Shift Dress House Dress Forget-me-Not Deadstock Nwt

DESCRIPTION: The house dress is back in a big way, what with everyone spending so much time at home these days. Why not have an original? This 1960s' shift dress from Forget-Me-Not by Fairview is casual enough to be comfortable, but will look great on those Zoom meetings or for a quick trip in to the office. The plaid is done in green, blue, tan, and cream, and the dress features a small Peter Pan collar, buttoned front placket, short sleeves to be worn cuffed or not, and small side walking slits. Can be worn with our without its faux-leather belt.

Made of a crisp, washable poly/cotton blend.

SIZE: Labeled size 8, but estimated a best fit for a modern size 6 or smallish 8. Shown unpinned (except under the arms) on a size 6/8 dress form and was a hair snug at the hips. Please use the garment dimensions and yours to determine fit. We suggest you compare to a dress you have of similar style or fit. There's no stretch to this fabric.

Measurements, with dress laid flat:
Bust: 38"
Waist: 37"
Hip: 38"
Shoulder to Shoulder: 15 1/2"
Length, from top of shoulder: 37"

CONDITION: Very good. Although dead stsock, it has fewer than a handful of barely there light-brown "age" spots (see photo), which should come out with washing (pre-treat first). (I didn't wash due to its new-with-tags state.) Also appears to have suffered some "rack wear" or storage issue: A belt loop appears to have broken and was repaired. None of these affect durability or wearability.
