This open-crowned 1960s pillbox hat in lush olive green rayon velvet is trimmed with an autumnal array of feathers in green, orange and gold, over fine green veiling. A green velvet ribbon bow adorns the back of the open crown, and hides the ends of the feathers. The hat was originally designed to sit up high, towards the back of the head, but will also look lovely if worn tilted more forward. This classic 1960s feather-trimmed pillbox hat is in very good condition, with the faintest bit of discoloration along its bottom edge-- unlikely to be noticed, and quite hard to see even when the hat is turned upside down, as shown in my last photo.
