pheasant feather fedora hat. This beautiful multi colored hat has a straw base but the whole hat is covered in gorgeous pheasant feathers. This hat could be worn by a woman or man. Measures 5" tall/deep, Brim 2 1/2" around, 11" wide on outside.

Inside is 8" from front to back.

It is an overall VG condition, from the early 60s. There seems to be some feathers missing on the very end of the brim on the left side. You can see some of the straw hat. I don't think it gets in the way of how amazing this hat is with the colorful patterns of the peacock, see next to last photo.

The label is the United Hatters Cap and Millinery Workers International. (UHCMW) was formed in 1934 by the amalgamation of United Hatters of North America (UHNA) and the Cloth Hat, Cap and Millinery Workers International Union (CHCMW).
