In the 50s to early 60s, initial brooches were de rigueur. You just pinned that baby to your tight sweater and you were on-trend! This one is brushed goldtone, which was popular in the late 50s to mid 60s. Letter "L", (like you couldn't see that. ) Mamselle company was a big manufacturer of these. Will come in a gift box.
