60s Mod Paisley Wool Knit Dress$39.00
DESCRIPTION: This paisley-print 1960s dress may seem simple, but when you see the detailing, you'll see that's an illusion. Features a swingy A-line skirt, dropped waist, and curvy princess seaming. The bodice detailing is wonderful: There are two diagonal seams across the front, with one having a small overlap with a very large decorative button faux closure. There are small shaping darts at the bust and shaping darts in back. Back metal zipper and hook & eye closures at neck. The background is a very deep dusk blue, and the paisley print is a dark purplish-fuschia color. The wool shell is bonded to an acrylic backing.
I can see this with some opaque stockings and 1960s' platform shoes!
No maker's label, but carries the 1963 to 1974 Union label.
SIZE: Not labeled; estimated a size large and best fit for a modern 12, possibly up to a 14. Please use the actual garment measurements below to determine fit.

CONDITION: Very good. There are two small mends (see photo close-ups), where the wool was thin, but no holes (probably old pest activity, but dress has been thoroughly treated to prevent active issues). Clean and ready to wear. Priced to account.
