I very clearly remember the mid and late 1960s, as I was a teenager then, very focused on fashions coming out of London, and the Flower Power scene of California. Enameled flower pins and other enameled jewelry was VERY big. These are perfect examples of jewelry made in that small frame of time, and are rare. The top tear-drop shaped stud is a tell- all indicator, that shows these are original and authentic. Reproductions will not have that feature. The hanging circle is just a smidge under one inch across. When hanging, if measure from the top of the stud, they measure 1. 5" top to bottom. The enamel is perfect on both orbs, and there are no chips. Terrific summer earrings that will work well with Tropical fashions, as well as psychedelic styles and Bo-ho.
