This is THE ultimate mid-century laying piece! It was a hand commissioned piece, made in the early 1960's for a local Californian fashionista. The body of the cardigan is made of a super soft (possibly cashmere) light pink knit pattern where every other checker is left as a cut out (allowing your outfit under to peek-a-boo though). On the front side of this knitted beauty it has been 100% blinged with pale pink iridescent sequins. Mid-Century Couture Knit & Sequin Pale Pink Cardigan.
