60s Light Blue Swiss Dot Gown$70.00
1960s light blue swiss dot lace gown by Nadine. This will fit a size 12 (possibly a 10), but please see measurements. The top has a double layered ribbed lace ruffle collar in beige and light blue. This goes all the around to the back. It has an empire waist with an attached beige ribbon on the back. It has an upside down v of the same ribbed lace, which gives it such a unique and adorable back. The gown is double layered and the top is organza with small, spread out, polka dots. I think the top layer is taffeta and the lining acetate. The back has a newer zipper, probably replaced. The label says, Nadine and dry clean only. It is in Good condition.
Nadine was started in 1954 as a maker of prom and formal dresses for young women. The company was located in St. Louis, Missouri, a center for the manufacture of junior clothing. The company is still in business today, making prom and bridal gowns.

This reminds me of a 1930s garden party dress. It's so feminine and lovely.
