Sarah Coventry pin brooch IVY goldtone 1960s signed pin

After four years of research, I stumbled across the design name for this Sarah Coventry brooch: Ivy - goldtone. There were suggestions that it was a leaf of an illegal substance, recently legalized in some states - - no idea on that.

The pin has concave leaves with a tiny bumpy texture, raised shiny stem and veins, with ruffled shiny rim and is 1 3/4 inches long. Pin mechanism works great.

The back of the top leaf is marked with copyright sign and SARAHCOV.

Research showed 1968 as manufacturing date - - the year before the Summer of Love.

Great condition.
